Signs it's time
Workarounds got you this far. Now they're costing you.
Whether it's day-to-day operations or a new product, if any of these sound like you, that's where the conversation starts.
Your business runs on a spreadsheet
And only one person can edit it without breaking anything.
The same data gets typed in twice
An order comes in on WhatsApp, goes into a spreadsheet, then into the system, and someone always slips up along the way.
You're paying for tools that don't talk to each other
And when it's time to decide, each one shows a different number.
Off-the-shelf software misses what matters most
Because your process isn't like everyone else's, and your team spends its days working around the system.
Your product idea is still on paper
And you need it in users' hands without burning through your runway on the wrong thing.

Common risks
What usually goes wrong when companies hire a software firm
For each risk, here's how we avoid it.
- The riskQuotes you can't compare, because each vendor understood the project differently
- How we avoid itWe put the problem in writing and prioritize the scope with you before we quote a price for development.Questions to compare quotes
- The riskMonths in, and still nothing working to show for it
- How we avoid itWorking software every 2 weeks: you use it and weigh in.
- The riskScope nobody wrote down, and a price that keeps climbing
- How we avoid itA written scope you approve, and a fixed price for that scope.
- The riskThe vendor who disappears mid-project or after launch
- How we avoid itEvery release shows you where the project stands, and your company owns the code, by contract: if you ever want to switch vendors, it stays with you.
In every one of these cases, nothing was agreed up front and nothing was shown along the way. That's why we work this way:
How we work
First we agree. Then we build.
At each stage, you know what you'll get. Discovery only comes in when the assessment shows it's needed.

Common questions
Questions before you start
How much does a software project cost?
The price is fixed in writing before development starts, and it mainly reflects the size of the scope, the integrations with other systems and the platforms (web, iOS, Android). With the price in hand, you decide whether to go ahead. Have a budget in mind? Pick a range when you request the assessment.
How long does it take to develop custom software or an app?
The timeline is fixed before development starts, along with the price, and it depends on the scope. Have a date in mind, such as a launch or a pilot? Mention it in the assessment, and the plan will show what can be delivered by then.
Does my company own the code?
Yes. The code built for your project belongs to your company, and that's written into the contract. If you ever want to continue with another vendor, the code is in your hands.
Do I pay anything before development?
No. The assessment and, when it's needed, the Discovery Sprint are free. The paid stages are development, with the scope, timeline and price fixed before it starts, and ongoing support, if you want it.
Do I need a technical background to hire you?
No. You describe the problem in plain business terms, and together we turn it into a prioritized scope: what comes first and what can wait.
What happens after launch?
Lemamon.dev can keep looking after what's running and improving the system as your operations change. That's support and continuous improvement, with the format and price agreed with you before work starts.
What if I need to change the scope mid-project?
You get working software every 2 weeks so you can spot early on what needs to change. If a change affects the scope, we agree on a revised scope, timeline and price with you before we continue.
Do you work with companies outside Brazil?
Yes. Lemamon.dev is a custom software development company based in São Paulo, Brazil, and works remotely with companies in other Brazilian cities and in other countries, in English, Portuguese or Spanish, using the same process: assessment, a Discovery Sprint when needed and working software every 2 weeks. For companies outside Brazil, currency, contract and payment terms are agreed in writing before we start.
Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?
Yes. If your project calls for confidentiality, we'll sign the agreement before you share the details. Just ask on WhatsApp or by email at comercial@lemamon.dev.
