Stage 2 of 4

Discovery Sprint: from problem to fixed price

Without paying anything, you walk away with a prioritized scope and a plan with a fixed timeline and price for development. Only then do you decide whether to move forward.

The first step is the free 45-minute assessment. That's where we work out with you whether you need Discovery, which is also free.

Why Discovery comes before development

Without a deep understanding of the problem, a development price is a guess. The Discovery Sprint (known elsewhere as product discovery or a discovery phase) is free and replaces the guess with a fixed price for a written scope.

What you get

Discovery ends with three deliverables:

  • Problem definition

The problem the software needs to solve, and why, written down before anyone decides what to build.

  • Prioritized scope

What comes first and what can wait, so you know what you're buying before you buy it.

  • Plan with a fixed timeline and price

The timeline and price for the development phase, already fixed, so you can decide whether to move forward.

Who it's for

  • You know the problem, but not what to build

Discovery turns an operational pain point into a scope that can be built, priced and tracked.

  • You have an idea, but don't know what comes first

Whether it's the first version of a product (an MVP) or a list of features, Discovery separates what comes first from what can wait.

  • Your quotes are all over the map

When every vendor reads the project differently, you can't compare their numbers. In Discovery, the scope is written down before the price, so you know what the number covers.

  • You need a number your partners, board or investors can trust

With the scope and plan in writing, you can bring your partners, board or investors a price you can back up, not an estimate.

If any of these sound like you, the first step takes 45 minutes and costs nothing.Request a free assessment

Questions about the Discovery Sprint

How much does the Discovery Sprint cost?

Nothing. The Discovery Sprint is free, just like the assessment. You only start paying if you approve development, once the scope, timeline and price are fixed.

Does every company need a Discovery Sprint?

No. It only happens when the free assessment shows it's needed, and that's worked out with you. When it isn't, the development scope, timeline and price are still fixed before work starts.

How long does the Discovery Sprint take?

It depends on the size of the problem. When Discovery is needed, how long it takes is worked out with you in the free assessment.

Do I have to continue with Lemamon.dev after Discovery?

No. Once you have the plan, with the timeline and price already fixed, you decide whether to move into development.

Do I need to know exactly what I want?

No. In the free assessment, you explain the problem in your own words. If what you need still has to be organized and prioritized, that's the job of the Discovery Sprint, which is also free.

Discovery starts with a free conversation

It's a 45-minute assessment, with written feedback. If the software has to be ready by a specific date, mention it when we talk, and the Discovery plan will show what can be delivered by then.
